Visual Sales Tool

The Challenge

Sales conversations that need visuals, in the field.

Roofing sales happens at the kitchen table, on a tablet, standing next to a house. Reps were juggling PDFs, photo libraries, financing sheets, and product brochures, every conversation losing momentum every time they tapped between apps.

The tool had to be interactive, editable in real time, and restricted to Rob's sales team, not a public site. One coherent visual story, from the first hello to the signed recommendation.

The Build

A private, interactive presentation, built on Lovable.

Nine guided steps a rep can walk a homeowner through, with per-customer intake, photo uploads from the roof, and a recommendation panel the rep writes live at the table. Every screen carries the Rob's Roofing brand, logo, editorial serif, the same warm orange accent, so the tool feels like the company, not a generic slide deck.

Step 01

Welcome the homeowner by name.

Every presentation opens personal. The homeowner's name in an italic serif headline, three plain-language cards for what the next hour looks like, get to know you, walk your options, personalized recommendation. No jargon, no pressure.

Step 01, Welcome screen greeting the homeowner by name
Step 01, Welcome & framing the conversation

Step 02

Arrival & needs assessment.

Four visual cards for the things the rep is about to look for, leaks, broken or slipped tile, cracks and open seams, areas vulnerable to future damage. Sets expectations before anyone climbs a ladder.

Step 02, Needs assessment grid with four concern cards
Step 02, What we inspect: roof, attic, crawl space

Step 03

Inspection findings, on the spot.

The rep uploads real photos from today's inspection, tags the concern level, and lists what they noted. The homeowner sees their own roof, not a stock image, the whole conversation is grounded in evidence.

Step 03, Inspection findings with concern level, noted issues, and photos of the customer's roof
Step 03, Personalized findings for this specific home

Step 04

Who Rob's is, who's helping today.

The company story, Rob arrived in 1989, family-run, 36 years Arizona-trusted, paired with the rep's own card, contact info, and the manufacturer credentials that matter: GAF Master Elite, Polyglass PremioPro. Trust built into the flow, not bolted on.

Step 04, Rob's Roofing story, sales rep contact card, and GAF Master Elite and Polyglass PremioPro partner badges
Step 04, Company story, sales rep, and manufacturer credentials

Step 05

Roofing systems, side by side.

Flat, shingle, metal, tile, four cards with real photography and plain-language notes on what each is best for. Homeowners can compare without a rep having to remember spec sheets.

Step 05, Roofing systems comparison grid: flat, shingle, metal, tile
Step 05, Roofing systems overview

Step 06

Education, not upsell.

The "How a Cool Roof Works" step turns a technical concept into one image, one big number (53%), and three plain benefits. This is the moment a homeowner stops nodding politely and starts asking real questions.

Step 06, How a cool roof works, with reflectivity diagram and 53% statistic
Step 06, Cool roof education, the "53%" moment

Step 07

Real work, real neighborhoods.

A gallery of recent installs from Rob's crews, tile replacements, shingle re-roofs, before-and-afters. Reps can filter by roof type as they talk, so a homeowner considering tile sees eight examples of tile.

Step 07, Samples and past work gallery with real project photography
Step 07, Samples & past work from Rob's crews

Step 08

Affordability, honestly.

Tabbed comparison across the four ways Rob's helps homeowners pay: full replace, targeted repair, financing, and cash/card. Each option gets the same warm treatment, no small print, no gotchas, no "sales moves."

Step 08, Affordability tabs: full replace, targeted repair, financing, cash / card
Step 08, Affordability & how you pay

Step 09

The recommendation, written for this home.

The rep's live-written recommendation, tied back to the concerns flagged in Step 03, alongside the Rob's mark and a personalized thank-you. The homeowner walks away with a coherent plan, not a generic quote.

Step 09, Personalized recommendation for the homeowner with a branded thank-you panel
Step 09, Personalized recommendation & branded close

Why It Matters

Sales tool that pays back its build in a week.

The team stopped juggling PDFs and started walking customers through a single, coherent visual story, one that reflects the company's brand on every screen. Because it's built on Lovable, we iterate on it, new products, new photos, new scripts, the same day feedback comes in from the field.

The private-first architecture keeps it a team tool, not a public site. And because the rep writes the recommendation live at the table, the customer leaves with a plan built for their home, not a spec sheet.
